Following the end of his active career as a dancer, Simon Kranz embarked on an intense, deeply personal quest to discover his artistic identity. It was not merely a question of finding a new occupation, but of discovering a new form of expression – a language beyond the stage. Through intensive artistic work, he developed his own visual language, through which he translates the dance skills he has honed over many years onto the canvas.

Simon Kranz has been working as a freelance artist since September 2021. His focus is on ink and acrylic on canvas. His works are characterised by strong, vibrant colours and abstract, dynamically moving forms – images that seem to emerge from the body and make movement visible. Initially, he marketed his works primarily via social media and his website. In 2023, he briefly exhibited them in his own gallery in Frankfurt’s Westend district. He also displays his work in high-quality venues as part of selected partnerships. Simon Kranz has since been represented at both the Discovery Art Fair Frankfurt and the Discovery Art Fair Cologne, and has also exhibited at ARTMUC. Today, he lives and works from his own studio in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen.
